Leaving comments on other people’s websites is one way to bring in some quick visitors. But how can you possibly think of a unique comment to post?
Today we’ll learn how to write the perfect blog comment.
The one comment that will bring in billions of visitors. Ready?
Let’s do this.
Tip #1: Don’t Read the Actual Article.
If you’re going to leave a comment on a website, it’s best to not read any of the content on the website. Just post a vague generic comment that could fit anywhere. Don’t contribute anything to the discussion. Trust me on this one.
Below is an example of an excellent comment I received on my very own website:
Tip #2: Post Random Filler Content
Not sure what to post? That’s okay. Text generators exist for a reason. There’s nothing that will make someone want to check out your website more than a comment full of gibberish.
Here’s a classic example of the effectiveness of these type of comments:
Tip #3: Post in Russian.
If all also fails, whip out that Russian keyboard.
Everyone loves comments that are in Russian.
Tip #4: Keep the Comment as Short as Possible.
God forbid you contribute something to the conversation.
Bonus points if it’s a one word comment.
When in doubt, say “Nice post”.
Short comments really trigger people’s curiosity. It makes them want to check out your website to find the rest of your comment. Works wonders.
Tip #5: Post Five Billion Links
On most WordPress websites, the default comment platform lets you include a link to your website. But this shouldn’t stop you from leaving five billion links in the comment area as well.
Post a link to every page on your website inside the comment section.
How to ACTUALLY Write a Useful Comment…
Read the article. Share your thoughts. It’s not that hard.
Nobody wants comments that are totally unrelated to the subject of their articles.
It adds nothing to the conversation and no one benefits from it.
If you actually want to benefit from blog comments – write proper comments!
